I’m so excited to announce that I’m putting the finishing touches on a brand new program for the Wilder Life community called 100 Wild Hours, simple weekly prompts that invite you to weave nature and creativity into your daily life to help cultivate mindfulness, belonging, and a sense of place. We’ll have monthly-ish “challenges” and events done in community, as well as a private community chat OFF Facebook (yay!) where we can share our experiences with each other as well.

I’ve been dreaming of this program for a long time, and can’t believe it’s finally ready! You can read all about 100 Wild Hours and how it works here.

100 Wild Hours

What would life be like if you could cultivate a regular nature connection practice?

I believe that committing to regular, focused time in nature (with a dash of creativity thrown in) can transform your life. I know, because it’s transformed mine.

For years, even surrounded by the wild beauty of Yellowstone, I felt overwhelmed and untethered—stretched thin by motherhood, grief, perimenopause, and the quiet erosion of self in midlife. Nature had always been a refuge, but it wasn’t until I slowed down—really slowed down—that it became something more. Sitting quietly in a cottonwood grove I call the Tree Palace, journaling, taking mindful photos, paying attention to the small, wild details…began to stitch me back together. The simple, intentional practice of spending mindful time in nature gave me a deeper sense of peace and wonder, and ultimately helped me come home to myself.

That’s the heart of why I created 100 Wild Hours—I’d love for you to experience the peace and clarity that comes from focused time in nature, too. And, I dream of a community of like-minded souls striving for a more meaningful, authentic existence deeply connected to the natural world. I hope you’ll join me!

We’re starting off with a Sit Spot Challenge June 3-8. 🌳

The goal will be 20 minutes a day in a place of observation in nature (your backyard, or a local park) where you’ll sit in one place and practice becoming more attuned to your natural surroundings without technology or worldly distractions. I’ll send daily emails during the sit spot challenge to invite you to take mindful, focused time in nature, and you can chime in the community chat to share your experience with each other.

🌼 After the sit spot challenge, the 100 Wild Hours weekly invitations will come to your email each Thursday, and there will be a dedicated community chat thread for sharing.

Ready to join the community?

100 Wild Hours and the sit spot challenge are for paid members of the Wilder Life community. If you’re already a member, you’re all set! If not, you can upgrade for just $9/month, or $99 a year (below). Members enjoy weekly 100 Wild Hours prompts, monthly events & challenges, and a member’s only algorithm-free community chat.

I can’t wait to spend some wild hours with you.

Jenny
