Sit Spot Challenge
Welcome to the Sit Spot Challenge!
We’re starting this round of the live challenge June 3, and going through June 8. You can of course use this practice anytime, on your own as well.
The goal will be to sit 20 minutes a day in nature (your backyard, garden, or a local park). A sit spot is simply a place of observation in nature where you’ll sit in one place and practice becoming more attuned to your natural surroundings without technology or worldly distractions.
Whether you are interested in more meditative nature practices or getting to know your animal neighbors a bit better, the sit spot is one of the best tools you can use to have a deeper connection with nature and to invite all the benefits of that relationship into your life.
