Good morning ! I hope you can join us for a sit spot today. Both George and I are looking forward to spending some focused time in nature today and can’t wait to learn about your spot!
Everything you need to know about how it works is on the sit spot page here, but in a nutshell:
Find a spot in your backyard or a local neighborhood park; anywhere with nearby nature that you can access easily and regularly over the next several days.
Take a few moments to “drop in” to the present moment (a sensory awareness meditation is included on the main sit spot challenge page above if this is helpful to you).
Hang out for 20 minutes (or more!)
Journal “what am I noticing”.
For today, I invite the main focus to be simply allowing yourself to settle in to the present moment through your senses.
